Is every schools in all the different states syllabus the same? In other words, i mean do they use the same text book, etc?

yes, all state uses same text books, because we have centralised education system, hence there are no distintion between states.

Actually, as far as I know, the syllabus throughout the country is the same. But this does not definitely mean that all textbooks in the whole country are exactly the same.

From what I know, for a particular subject for a particular year, there might be up to 4-5 approved textbooks, written by different publishers. All those textbooks adhere to the same syllabus. Typically, Northern Malaysia would have a version of textbook, Central one version, southern one version, East Coast a version and East Malaysia a version.

Yeah, this is true. For the English and Malay literature, different part of Malaysia use different books.( What i mean here is the title of the novel)

Different states use different textbooks from different publishers. A subject may have 2 to 3 textbooks.
