to be frank, i'm still divided in choosing sciences (chemistry, physics) or engineering,( chemical, material, mechanical, maybe E&E too).

so, i m still doing some soul searching and gathering informations

i check that the material engineering course is still under provisional accreditation.

i read that applied chemistry is restricted to only 50 students but what are the chances that Malaysian students to enter this programme ?

In order to enroll in Applied chemistry, you must first take chemistry major and read one extra module before you can apply for app chem major in year 2. In year 1, you will be studying the same things as normal chem major with only an additional core module. I know 2 Malaysians senior enroll in Applied Chemistry.

It is almost the end of 2010. Here's a thread to discuss about entry into National University of Singapore (NUS). Whether it's about the financial matters, administrative information, accommodation, student life or studies. Feel free to discuss anything related to NUS.

Also, do get to know one another before going to NUS. Believe me, the number of recomers in NUS is astounding.

I will try to help out as much as I can (and try to get the other seniors too). I was in the same position last year too and the previous thread really helped out alot. Well, a little self-intro. I am Li Shan Shung. Accepted into NUS Faculty of Science 2010, Life sciences major.

Let's get this thread going!
Wow, it has been around 4 months since my last visit to this forum. And the first thread comes into my sight is this thread posted by you for the benefits of the next batch of possible newbies coming to NUS. It's great job and I'll try to help out as much as I can.

Here is a little self-introduction from me to everyone. I was previously a physics stream STPM-er from Penang Chung Ling High School. I'm currently a year 1 NUS undergraduate studying Computer Science. Feel free to ask me if you all have any questions on admission, accomodation, financial aids, courses or other aspects of NUS. Hope to see you all in NUS later~ ^^

Last year the offers were released in batches. Around late April or early May. So don't despair yet if you name is not among the first to be released.

Hello, newbie here.

I am currently a final year student in UTAR. I am very interested to apply for Master of Science of Mechanical Engineering (Coursework Based) in NUS.

I have seen the webpage of NUS and they only said that it required a Bachelor
