Let’s start by “ripping the Band-Aid off” (getting something painful done quickly). Here's the less-than-happy financial aid story from a former Baruch College student http://ow.ly/bM7gz

I’ve been approaching it in different ways, so I thought I would share my experiences with you so you can learn about different strategies and find one that will work for you.

As is often the case, the reality of financial aid for international students in the US is somewhere in between these two extremes.

Take a deep breath. Are you way too picky when it comes to American universities?

Stay tuned for more stories.

Happy Fourth of July! http://pic.twitter.com/DBa0rFkj

For many students, the Fourth of July is a holiday they have celebrated for years, but for international students, such as Zadran, the experience is still fairly new. When Zuleikha Zadran came to the U.S. at the age of 13, it was the war in Afghanistan that pushed her family to leave. But now, as an American citizen and recent MSU graduate, she feels love for both countries.
