(not sure if it's the right thread, n00b posting)

the semester is ending and i'm organising a small class party.
our budget is small and we are planning to just cook by ourselves.
since we cant legally cook in our dorm, we only have small, hide-able kitchen tools - rice cooker, hot plate, toasters and pots.. so we can cook just simple stuff lah.

here's our menu:
hash brown
fried noodles
steamed chocolate cake

do you guys have any suggestions to add to the menu?

You could always make tuna sandwiches. Mix tuna up with mayo, cucumbers, tomatoes and onions if you fancy, salt pepper to taste. Spread some margerine/butter onto your bread, add a leaf of lettuce and top it off with the tuna. Voila, you don't even need to 'cook'!

But I guess that depends on people's taste

Sushi! You just need to prepare the rice as the rest of the ingredients can be eaten raw. That's my favourite form of party when I stayed in Germany previously.
